Jen & Juan - Maternity

I don't even know where to begin with this funny family!!! They had me cracking up the whole session!
Those types of sessions not only make my job easy, but absolutely fun. :)

Jen and Juan are expecting their little Prince Myles any day now it seems! And he is already going to be welcomed into a family that is full of love and laughter. The first person that is going to greet him with fun and laughter is going to be his big sister Gianna. Now that girl is funny!!!! That little man won't stand a chance when he gets older and is in the dating world. She will probably be that sis in the back of the movie theaters throwing popcorn at her little brother on his first date. Not just to be funny, but also protective. I CANNOT wait to see her with him. I love watching siblings taking care of their little brothers or sisters. It is truly amazing. You will definitely be able to see her spunky self come about within this post and you'll know what I mean. She made everyone come out of their shells. :)

Can we talk about how stunning Jen is for a second? I mean good gosh; those eyes!!  And not to mention she makes pregnancy look like a breeze. I remember looking and feeling like I was going to explode before Tatum came along. I was counting down the days before she was here, but not Jen. She has a beauty and a grace about her that makes everything calm and collective. She may already be a mom so she knows the ins and outs, but she just seems to have it all together. She is simply breathtaking.

Juan, poor guy couldn't catch a break during this session. Gianna was always getting on him when he was been romantic with her momma, but we all know how I love those wintery, sweet snuggles. And nothing is better than when a daddy to be is absolutely infatuated with the mother of his child. From the tender touches to the sweetness of just holding hands, he is the sweetest. He may be out numbered now, but soon enough he will have some help with the come backs on these two strong independent women. :)

Snow Day ~ Personal

As many of you know, we were hit pretty good with snow this past week!! We were so excited to have it finally come because we wanted to see Tatum's reaction to her First Snow. The pups love to play it and it is so funny to see them hop around and get crazy.

Little did we know it was going to be straight ice. :( That on the other hand, was not fun! It was hard not to slip and we had to keep the dogs from running like they wanted and that was a bummer. To tell a pup or a kid that they can't run and play in the snow is just crazy!! But, hopefully next time we will just get snow instead of sheets of ice. I was just happy to get pictures out of the deal. I couldn't wait to see Tatum's face when she first touched or tasted the snow. We may have only been able to stay out there for 15 mins, but it was the best 15 mins a mom and dad could ask for. We have dreamt for moments like these where we can share our love of fun with another. It is safe to say Tatum enjoyed it just as much as we did. :)

Tatum EverLee Tenney :: 6 months!

I just can't believe it!! Maybe I just don't want to believe it! Our baby girl turned 6 months old today! I keep asking myself, how? when? why did she grow up so fast? Where is my newborn? But then I am reminded that she is always going to be my baby; just a baby that keeps growing into eventually what will be a young woman! whoa whoa I am getting ahead of myself. I am just emotional so excuse me.

But seriously, I have to keep asking myself; did I document enough? Do I have enough pictures and memories for her to look back on and say "wow mom and dad took me here"?

I am so grateful for this little ball of happy energy. She continues to amaze me every single day. With all the new things she has learned and continues to learn; Chris and I are so smitten.

• I still like to stay up late and give mom and dad a run for their money
• I have almost mastered holding my bottle
• I love my Tot doll - never leave home without her
• I sit up by myself

• I love to look at myself in the mirror
• I love to eat
• I have found my belly laugh
• I love to eat my feet

I love my bear that my Uncle Tookie gave me!

My mommy may be a Florida Gators fan, but my Daddy, Pop and Gamma are South Carolina Gamecocks fans. Mom says that, that is okay for now because my tooshie is so cute in this picture.

Sophia Turns One!!

I have had the pleasure of knowing little miss Sophia when she was still baking in her momma's tummy. Ashley & Mike (mommy & Daddy) gave me the privilege to not only take their maternity photos while they were patiently waiting for miss Sophia's arrival, but they even let me do a lifestyle session of their sweet family when Sophia was just 6 months.
Needless to say; I was completely honored to capture their first joy's 1st birthday as well! And no one could have had a better "Little Mermaid" party than Sophia! It was precious. Ashley and Mike have the sweetest family and they were all there showing nothing but LOVE for this little one! You can tell Sophia has them ALL wrapped around her little finger! I truly enjoyed being able to capture this special day :)

Chelsea & John - Baby Announcement

When I met these two I thought they were the cutest!! They both are super excited to be having a baby to add to their family come August. Chelsea will be pregnant the same time I was with Tatum last year, so I can relate to all of her concerns. I reassured her it's such an exciting experience and she will fall in love immediately. I thought it was so fitting to announce that they were pregnant around Valentine's Day. They had the sweetest props to match.

John is going to be such an amazing dad! He is already so protective over that baby belly and to actually see a dad fall in love all over again before even meeting the little bean is so precious. Their two little fur babies have so much love to give and I know they both will be nothing short of protective. I can't wait to find out what these two are having. It will truly set things in stone and that's when all the fun begins!! Congrats you two!!!
