Raygan & Tiago ~ Couples Portraits

As many of you may know, I have quite a large family and I love every one of them dearly!!! Including my sweet - not so baby cousin, Raygan!! I can't believe how much she has grown. Now in college and still with her sweet High School love, Tiago, she has grown into such a beautiful young woman!! An aspiring photographer herself, when she contacted me and wanted to have pictures of them two together while Tiago was home from College, I was all for it!!

Tiago is away for college, studying to be an MD; Raygan has been nothing but a fabulous support system for him!! He doesn't get to come home much so when he does they are inseparable and I thought it was perfect to capture that love and remind them why they fell in love in the first place. :)

We did their session in the Art District in Norfolk and Downtown as well! it was perfect, it fit them perfectly and they were able to snuggle in close when the wind came a whipping through!! I loved being able to capture these moments for them!! I think they are the sweetest and I hope nothing but the best for them!! It is hard to keep a long distance relationship, anyone will tell you that, but not for these two! It seems that they have never been stronger and I wish nothing but the best for my baby cousin!! 

I love you two to pieces!!

Rebecca & Matt ~ Maternity

I not only had the pleasure of working with Rebecca and her sweet family, but I work with this sweet lady as well!! She has the best Facebook posts and is always cracking me up; and when I do get to see her at work she continues to always have a smile on her face!!

When she contacted me about doing a maternity/family session, I was all in for it of course, but then when I found out after having 2 kids and having none of those pregnancies documented I really wanted to make this session special for her!! 

We started her precious family out at First Landing State Park. I wanted a place where Baron and Porter (the proud Big brother and Sis to be) could be in their own element where they could play and have some fun!! Big Brother Baron is so ready to be another big brother to his next sibling. Rebecca & Matt decided they would let this one be a surprise and Baron seems to think he is already having another little sister to protect; he keeps calling Mommy's tummy Sunny!! It is seriously the sweetest thing ever to see him talk to Sunny!! I vote girl too because of how protective he already is. Porter on the other hand, isn't too crazy about baby Sunny yet. She is unsure if she wants baby to come; bless her heart, she will be an amazing Big Sis though, she just doesn't know it yet!

After some family fun, I brought Rebecca and Matt back out because I wanted them to be able to have their love captured between the two of them and not for them to have to worry about where their babes have ran off too!! And I am so excited they let me! Look at how stunning she is, I mean come on!! Matt couldn't keep his eyes or hands off her! They not only have a romantic side, but they have a goofy side as well and it was so funny to watch her give him a hard time. Bless his heart, he has no idea if he is about to be out numbered with Baron or if they are going to rule the house. Either way, you can bet he is as excited as Rebecca is to welcome their precious third bundle and I can't wait to meet baby Sunny!!! Side Note: Rebecca said there is no way baby is going to be called Sunny, but I think Baron has other plans :) Nickname maybe??

I look forward to hopefully capturing so many memories for this sweet family!! Baby Sunny will be here before we know it!! :)

Amanda & Stephen ~ Engaged

Pause for the moment!!!! My freaking BEST FRIEND, MY GFBF IS ENGAGED!!! Gahhhh!!!! I still remember the day she called me and told me Stephen proposed to her; I remember jumping up and down screaming with her on the phone. Me celebrating here and her in Miami, we couldn't stop crying, cooing and screaming!! I just love them; and I know I say it time and time again, but hot damn my friends are hot!! 

I have known Amanda since Second grade. Always a bestie of mine and never ever has she let me down!! We had the best of sleepovers after nights of too many margaritas! We would wake up and my mom would have breakfast made! She was that friend that knew my whole college class schedule and called me on my walks to class to catch me up on the mischief the night before. We cried together, laughed together, but most importantly we always were together!! Inseparable!! 

When she re connected with Stephen after working together years before, we both knew he was the one for her!! Soooooo needless to say, a sista has been patiently waiting for him to seal the deal!! When they made the big move to Miami this past year, I remember being mad at first. Another man taking away another one of my best friends, I could't deal!! Then I softened up and I knew it was the right move, for the both of them!! They needed to start fresh and start a life of their own, and that's what they did!! I am so proud of the both of them and I can't wait to stand by their side on their wedding day next year as they say "I Do." Most importantly, I can't wait to see my best friend's dream become a reality and I can't wait to help make it one!!

Look at their happiness! Doesn't it just make you smile while scrolling through??! Well good because they were making me smile behind the lens the whole time!! Look at how beautiful Amanda is!! She is so gorgeous and always has been!! Stephen just lights up when he looks at her; you can tell he can't wait to make her his forever!! I love you two so much and I cannot wait for your big day!! 

Jordan & Luke ~ Holiday Session

You want a session with just your fur babies?? I am all for it people!! And I mean just take a look at these beauties; Vader and Vixen are their names! Aren't they just so stunning and cute?!!

When Jordan contacted me a while back, she wanted holiday photos of her and Luke and their precious babes. She asked "is that weird? Do people do this?" The answer is yes!! Because lets be serious, any pet of mine has always been considered family, like one of us; and I think that is how it should be!! Enough about those precious fur babes, just look at how freaking stunning Jordan is with that damn mermaid hair y'all!! Good Gosh!! Her skin is flawless and she can make anything look amazing!! Style me girlfriend!! ;) Luke just adores her; you can see how he looks at her through all these images, homeboy is smitten!! (insert all the heart eyes). 

We did their session at Red Wing Park and we couldn't ask for more of a gorgeous day. Sure it wasn't your typical December day with the hot humidity blaring down on us, but it wasn't freezing and we were going to take it!! I am just in love with everything about this session; I hope to continue to capture their love for many years to come!!

Christina & Roma ~ Holiday Session

There is nothing I love more than when a Mom, whom is also a dear friend of mine wants pictures of her and her little one. It melts my heart to see the interaction between the two!! I don't know if you remember but Roma and Tatum are not only 4 days apart, but they were born on each others due dates!! It has been so precious to watch them both grow up together. And although I know they don't get together often enough to play, they always pick back up with the same smiles and giggles from the time before!! And Christina is such a good friend to me and her Carmine to Chris!! We love them!!

Even though Carmine, who was such a sweet, kindest of souls is not here to watch his little girl grow and play and also see how beautiful Christina has done, he is here in spirit and there is not a day that doesn't go by that he does not shed light on his family and his friends. He was such an awesome Father, friend, Husband, ball player and he will be truly missed!! I just know he was here this day!! Not only could we all feel it, but it was gloomy and yucky all day before their session and literally moments before, the sun peaked through and rays of sunshine came through those trees on the farm that day and he was able to warm all of our hearts!!

But seriously though, look how stunning Christina is!! She is a super mom I tell ya!! Carmine would be so blown away at the amazing Mother she is to their Roma!! :) I love you Vozza's!! Miss you every day Carmine!!
