Caruthers Family

This adorable family I have known for years now and I can't believe how much time flies. It was just the other day little Lexi was only 2 years old and little Corbyn was an infant, and now those two are all grown up and now it seems that little Luke is the baby - but not even so much that. He is getting to be a big boy too; he already hit 2 years old. I remembering taking his 1st birthday pictures last year. Oh what a world!! ::sigh::

It is just crazy to me how time flies! And Chris and Amber are like no other; from being high school sweet hearts to moving all around for Chris's job (NAVY), they have stayed so in love. You can see those smiles light up on their faces when it came down to where it was time for just the two of them to have portraits. It was like they were in their own little sweet world just soaking up all the goodness and didn't have a care in the world.

I am so grateful to watch many of my friends/clients grow and it never gets old to me! I love to look back at all the timeless memories and chit chat about the good ole days. :)

P.S.  Their kids are super behaved at all times; I am still trying to get Amber to give me her secret for when I have that crazy Tater running around!

Lawton Family

These cuties get more amazing and hold more of a special place in my heart every time I get the pleasure of capturing their sweet family. Katie and her sweet hubby Sven have two amazing boys, Colton and Kellan. All four of them kept my camera clicking! With Katie's perfection and glowing smile and Sven's sense of humor and charm, there is no wonder why their boys are just as perfect. Colton is such an awesome big brother to Kellan and he was a ball of emotions that kept us all laughing the whole time.

I am so glad they picked Bergey's Breadbasket to have this session. It couldn't have been more perfect light on this day and the boys had a ball with all the animals. Katie even had her sweet Mom, Dad and brothers come along for the fun. I was so happy that I was able to get these special pictures for mom for Mother's Day this weekend. :)

Now just keep scrolling for all those priceless smiles!!

Yes! that is a Kitty in the background. Him and his little brother decided to hang out with us during the session :)

I love this next picture. (insert ball of emotions) - Colton is happy as a clam then he decides he's done with pictures for now. Kellan is like "what? I thought we were just getting started, come on bro!" hahaa

More Hubbies should be as goofy as Sven! It makes for a fun session! :)

Colleen ~ Lifestyle

I know ya'll remember this sweet momma and her boys!! Colleen and Juan were featured on my blog about a month ago before sweet little Lorenzo made his appearance.

Although Juan wasn't able to make this special day, he was there in spirit. He is such a busy daddy with two little boys now he couldn't skip work this day. But just look how glowing Colleen is. You can't even tell she just had another baby!! I remember talking to her and she was  so worried that Lorenzo was going to be born on Marcelo's first birthday and that Marcelo wouldn't be able to have his own day to himself. Almost having what we like to call "Irish Twins", she made it past that; and now look,  she has two perfect boys that just fill her heart with so much joy.

Marcelo is such a great big brother already and doesn't even know it. Colleen I am so happy for you and your sweet growing family. I can't wait to document all of your amazing future adventures.

I love you girl!!!

Jace ~ Turns one.

I consider this sweet family here, family of my own. I have known them for ages; Johanna in particular! She is one of my cousin's best friends and has been in my life since the day I entered the world. I grew up calling her a cousin of my own because that's all I knew. My family and extended family are so close that we all just consider one another FAMILY. I love it that way! It makes it more fun  at parties and it makes for getting together a great time. You all know how I am with family; it's what I live for!! Johanna has seen me grow up from my chubby kid days, to high school proms and college fun. Now she has seen me get married and become a mother; I the same to her!! Growth is an amazing thing to witness and I am so honored to not only call her family but her husband and two boys as well!!

Meet her youngest boy, Jace! He just turned ONE last week! What the what?! crazy!!! So I had to snap a few! They wanted the cherry blossom trees and we all know us photographers kill for an amazing back ground, so I was immediately all in. I was a little disappointed though that they weren't as pink as the ones up north, but they were sure a pretty pale pink - almost white! It made it a little hard for us at first to even find a spot, it seemed everyone and their momma was at Red Wing Park that night, but I think we managed! WE even got in an awesome cake smash!! Happy birthday sweet boy! I love you!! <3

Kim & Nick ~ Maternity

These two are some kind of spectacular! They have the most adorable love! The way Nick still looks at Kim as though he had just laid eyes on her is the best thing to witness. And now that she is carrying his daughter Mason, the sweetness just radiates more. The whole time during the session he kept saying "My girls", "whatever my girls want for dinner." He is so amazingly sweet it's unreal.

Kim shows that same sweetness in return; with the kindest heart and the most soft spoken voice, she is the perfect fit for Nick. I cannot wait to see the two of them fall in love with Mason when she arrives. Kim not only makes pregnancy look like a breeze, but she has that continuous beauty just shines on through. I was so excited when they said they wanted to take their maternity photos at the same place the two shared their "I DO's". It was the perfect place - Aqua; over on the Eastern Shore!! My beautiful best Briana Macon and her awesome hubby with Macon Photography actually captured their wedding day! So needless to say I was honored when the two of them asked me to capture their maternity session to celebrate their sweet bun in the oven. I actually met Kim and Nick when they booked my Christmas Mini's this past year, and it was the start of a beautiful friendship. They got to know my silly/crazy husband as they got the chance to steal my heart at the same time.

I am so happy for you two!! I cannot wait to meet Miss Mason!!
